About Us

We are a highly selective student organization that prepares members for roles in high finance such as investment, private equity, and equity research through rigorous coursework and hands-on experience.

Established in 2017

Bell Tower Capital Management was founded by a group of passionate students who started by managing a paper-traded portfolio. Since then, we have grown to managing approximately $240,000 of university funds and developed a robust internal training program to prepare members for a career in high finance.

Our Goal

We seek to aggregate highly motivated, curious self-starters with an interest in finance and a passion for learning. Our mission is to provide these students with the opportunity to develop long-term investing skills using real-world strategies in order to drive alumni placement at top investment banks, hedge funds, and other high finance roles.

Education

Our Analyst Development Program provides new members with a semester-long intensive training to learn fundamental investing theory and develop technical financial modeling skills. At the end of the semester, new analysts gain hands-on experience by delivering a capstone group equity research project and stock pitch.

Experience

Analysts gain practical experience in developing investment theses, financial modeling, and equity research by delivering 1-2 pitches each semester. Members have the opportunity to debate pitches and vote on portfolio management decisions (buy/sell) for each pitch. Analysts also maintain market updates regarding earnings releases and thesis revisions.

Networking

Members receive access to a community of alumni with extensive industry knowledge and experience, as well as fellow students passionate about following current events, broad economics, and financial markets. We also provide internal financial resources, interview guides, and interview preparation.

About the Fund

Our portfolio is benchmarked to the Russel 2000. We invest in small- to mid-cap companies with a market capitalization between $500M and $50B, targeting 30-40 portfolio companies with a focus on North America. Our strategy is based on a long term investment horizon (3-5 years) and driven by fundamental value investing. We cover all Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) Sectors, aligning their allocation to our benchmark.
